FORT LAUDERDALE | 488 Residences at Riverwalk | 375 FT | 37 FLOORS

I could've sworn this was posted somewhere...

488 Residences at Riverwalk
http://www.ellisdiversified.com/488-residences/

Quote:
362 APPROVED Residences
Downtown Fort Lauderdale’s Premier Riverwalk Location

488 SW 1st Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301
488 Residences is a mixed-use highrise development in the desirable Riverwalk section of downtown Fort Lauderdale, conceived and entitled for 362 residences by EDI. The project was sold to UDR in 2022 and construction is expected to begin in the near future.
https://www.emporis.com/buildings/13...derdale-fl-usa - Emporis lists as 375 FT, not sure how credible that is.

This looks a little similar to the DNA towers but I haven't seen an individual thread for this. Looks like we are looking at a twin development, with two towers. I presume same height/floors for 488 Residences at Riverwalk.

It seems like Ellis Diversified Inc and its proposals are meant to be sold. The plans sold to groups that will actually build them are kept relatively the same.

Example:

The Rise was sold and eventually developed without the spire.

This will go under the same fate, but thankfully it was sold in 2022 to UDR who is pretty trusted.
