This one looks pretty slender for West Campus. Is the podium is parking or apartments??

If you look closely, the graphic says "Units".

Side note: It looks like this could potentially have a lighted crown. That's obviously not the norm for a WC building.

The site plan was approved & released today. The status is probably site prep by now.

West Campus is starting to look like it was designed by an AI generating every shingled window pattern permutation possible.

I assume they are demolishing the houses and upgrading it to a 1200 dollar a night hotel?

Went by the site an hour ago and it seemed to be in the same condition as it was in Urbannizer's photo above.

This one is about to start. Existing building is still standing but they've put up barricades in the road to form the temp sidewalk.

That shot doesn't even look like Austin. Insane how much this city, and especially West Campus, has changed in my lifetime.

Something resembling a crown on a West Campus tower? That's more than I've come to expect.

Lots more glass than other WC projects too, with their tiny little prison windows.

This is more traditional-looking modern urbanism than most of the West Campus projects as well.
