Using Google Earth with an accuracy of tenth of metres

In some requests like https://skyscraperpage.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=254445 Google Earth data are given with an accuracy of
tenth of metres. As I know one can use it only with an accuacy of one metre.
What did I make wrong?

I'm guessing you can switch to feet instead of metres and then convert the measurment.

The versions I have downloaded all came in feet as the default giving an accuracy of a 1/3 of a metre. Afterall, The program Google Earth uses was created by an American company.

I don't know how most people get their data. I have done 1000s of heights. I don't have time for the measuring tool. I take the elevation value in the right hand corner from the top of the building and the bottom, type them into a macro and get the height in metres. It takes a few seconds. That's given in feet and I don't think you can reset it to metric .
