There will be a public Site Plan Meeting for this proposed 7s residential building at the Jan 9 planning committee meeting.

Just a reminder that it's no longer a 10s mixed-used building and that council already approved the zoning for it. Site-plan consultation is usually administrative between planning staff and the developer but for some zoning approvals, council adds on a provision to host a public site plan meeting so that any neighbours in the area can come in and discuss site-plan concerns (ie: garbage, lighting, etc).

I don't remember if this was finally approved by the city, but there is some materials and equipment on site now. There was someone there when I drove by and I asked him if the project was being started soon and he indicated that it will be under construction soon.
