Sarnia is such an odd duckling in Ontario, it for years was basically the only city in southern Ontario which was shrinking. That's since reversed, but it's still growing slower than the rest of the province.
Sarnia kinda sucks. It smells really bad, the pollution extends over a large geography and the downtown is a joke. But I have fond memories of passing through, from home to college. Most people heading between Toronto or Upstate NY and Metro Detroit head through Sarnia, not Windsor.
