Thanks!

So it's floors will be narrower then 8,255 square feet (766.9 m2). That's going to look really thin. I can't find the actual dimensions of the One though.

Interesting to hear this Toronto perspective and numbers confirm what I see when I'm there but thought might be an optical illusion of some sort - Toronto towers really are thick! I'm used to smaller floorplates being used as maximums - I think Edmonton's new Zoning Bylaw sets a 800 sq m max.

I’m confused - isn’t 766.9m2 narrower than 961m2 ?

You are and my memory failed me. The One (961m2) is much fatter than 432 Park (767m2)

I'm constantly looking up this stuff. I thought BUMP meant "bump" for the longest of times.

Wait, what does BUMP mean? I'm not in the know of all this lingo either, I learn it gradually.

Toronto's regulations stipulate a floorplate no larger than 750m2, but of course, there are exceptions, like this one...

St. clair is the more developed street, over Eglinton because of the streetcar?

LOL this is all pretty funny. When you said IIRC I went looking for a tower in New York.

Bring Up My Post which I don't get. Typically, someone posts bump to get attention for someone else's post, no?

Oh. That sounds rather redundant.
I didn't know the One had a larger floorplate than most towers built lately in Toronto, although it makes sense when I see photos from others and my own from 5 years ago. The ground floor retail space is quite large.

Hmm. I'm too lazy to do a streetview refresher. I can't pick one over the other as I recall. They both have similar mid rise apartment and low rise commercial neighbourhoods

In my experience on forums, there is tacit acknowledgment that a person is entitled to 'bump' a post they put a lot of work into onto the next page if it ended up being the last entry on the preceding page and a low-effort comment forced the page roll-over.

Bring Up My Post is being abused.

I do that, or if I notice somebody has made a post of importance only to have the page flip over soon after they do it I will bump it for them.
