So I still had another week of vacation left in the tank, and decided that in the spirit of living life rather than making excuses, especially post-covid, I decided that it was time for Spain. In truth, it's always time for Spain because it's just one of those countries that always seems to becon when one thinks of warm sunshine, superb culture and food food food. The title reflects the fact that Spain is one of the last countries in Europe still dead serious about Covid matters and in fact only dropped their remaining entry controls about a week before I left (Woooooot!). At any rate I can see why Spain has become a go-to in Europe and like France heaven willing this will definitely *not* be my last time here. This, like my French photos, will be the first of a few installments.

Arriving in Toledo:
As some will know, Toledo was a Roman city that had a Visigothic city built on top of it which then got built over by the Moors who promptly saw their momuments converted by the Castillians. All of this mess has produced stunning archological remains like these roman baths found under an apartment block:
