I added some images of the Cherie Buckner-Webb Park in the general development thread, in case you're curious how it's coming along.

This is huge, Boise. Former garden center to open as massive new brewpub, restaurant

In spring 2022, Sockeye plans to open a second location at 3823 N. Garden Center Way, at the corner of 36th Street and Hill Road. At more than 12,000 square feet, the towering space formerly held 36th Street Garden Center & Bistro, which closed in March 2020 before reopening briefly to liquidate and say goodbye.

East Main Street Historic District

If my memory serves me right, there is a small apartment or condo building planned between these mansions

A developer is proposing a 5 story student housing project in the Lusk Neighborhood. They have submitted a pre-app to the City and have sent out the information for the neighborhood meeting. Looks like it will have 180 units, with 169 stalls in the typical student housing configuration. It does include some retail space on Royal which is a nice change. I'm hoping they can add some to Lusk as this is a connection point to the greenbelt and potential greenbelt bridge location.

I'm hoping for some better design based on the Architects. Hopefully the developer doesn't push for cheap materials on the facade...

I was wondering when the Lusk area was going to get more of these types of residential projects. I know the city had slated that neighborhood for more density.

If The London and Ovation get built, that shot is going to look pretty good

Also, a new tallest would go good on that surface lot between the courthouse and the CW Moore building.

It looks like that small office building on the greenbelt is going away for this.
I remember the NIMBY attitude the owner of that building had when the current adjacent apartment building was built.

Can someone (Sawtooth ) post some pics of St. Lukes new parking garage?

I haven't been down in that area for a while, so I assume it's nearing completion, if not already complete.

Also, has construction started on the new hospital tower yet?

Thanks guys (and gals). Happy Fourth of July

I was able shoot some photos of the completed garage and will get them ready to post soon. The lot the new tower will be on appears to be cleared with construction fencing around it, but I don't think anything has started yet.

June 27 |11th & Idaho

11th & Idaho has what appears to be its first ground floor retail, a PNW coffee house, on the back side facing Cherie Buckner Webb Park which is nearing completion.

St. Luke's New Parking Garage ~ Downtown

First off, the new bike track the hospital built around its campus is a great asset.

This building received a facelift.

I believe the hospital remodeled this mansion next door on Jefferson Street and then sold it? I could be wrong.
