I counted 66 floors to top of core from SolarWind's 5/23 and 5/25 photo, so perhaps 6-7 floors to go before it is topped out..

I like to try to guess where the photographer was located and this image seems to have been taken from over 200 meters up. Sears? 311 S. Wacker?

Franklin? One of the banks?....?

It's a wonderful vista.

I can't get enough of the new south loop cluster.

This new tower is really bringing it all together.

As I long suspected it would.

^ The future tower at Roosevelt and Michigan will hopefully be the cherry on top for the South Loop skyline.

^Chicago Hilton and Towers.....Tower? Lol. I don't think they have enough room to add on a big boy like Essex did. But it would be a nice addition to that badass picture above.^^

I was referring to adding a tall tower to Hilton like they did to Essex. It was a LOL because they don't have the space to do that.

^ From March 2022:

Quote:
Crescent Heights also owns a site next to Nema in the South Loop, where it plans another tall tower. The developer could build as many as 740 units on the property under current zoning. Buchberg and his colleagues are beginning to plan for that project, but the firm probably won’t break ground for at least two years, he said.

“We’re starting to kick it around,” he said.

I'm guessing this is a view from "Chase Bank" tower.

I like how this picture makes it look completely isolated and not in a super dense part of the city with lots of surrounding and similarly-sized buildings.

Most photos show the front, so I have just taken one of the back:

Has anyone posted this model yet? I just stumbled upon it:

This image reinforces the idea that this building is going to feel like it is soaring upward and give the illusion that it is defying gravity in a way that no other building

in Chicago has ever done. The execution of vertical lines is remarkably restrained and seem that they will be beautifully effective and affective because of that restraint.

I suspect that many people will visually drawn toward this building in an almost subconscious way because of the finesse of the design.
