Wow! Well done Andy. As for that one pic on South Osborne, Luxsole is an outstanding restaurant. The jury is however still out on its sister eatery, Luxalune, two buildings away. The management team is top notch so I expect things to come along nicely. South Osborne needs some work, but it has good potential.

Great job capturing many of Winnipeg's historic structures.

One of the more reasons why I love this city.

Great pics Andy!

There's a lot more to Winnipeg that I originally expected. It looks like a beautiful city with a lot of substance and character. Great shots.

You definitely make a good case for Winnipeg. It looks pretty nice to me. I met some people from Winnipeg on my cruise in Hawaii last year. It was February and they were VERY glad to be in Hawaii! Nevertheless, they still liked their home town. Thanks!

I don't care where you are from; who wouldn't be glad to be in Hawaii in February...

Nice pics and commentary Andy6!

A city of impressive buildings, the bold and beautiful.

You've captured the Winnipeg I've come to know (through photos and descriptions), your humorous captions were accepted with a smile, well done Andy6

Nice thread!
You can tell from all those great old buildings that Winnipeg used to be a real commerce hub.

Fantastic. I always look forward to a Winnipeg photo thread by Andy. Thankfully we've had beautiful weather during your trip (for the most part), as is evident in your photos.

Greetings all. I've been lurking here for quite some time. Finally decided to join. Here's a whole bunch of Winnipeg shots from my collection. These are all from the past year or so.

Yes he is an actual photographer as opposed to an unskilled person wielding a camera, like me.

I hope that he will put these and other shots into a separate thread where they are more likely to be seen. They are quite outstanding.
