I love how US Bank Stadium looks like a Viking ship from some angles.

Legacy Condos l 17fl l 121 12th Ave S

Shamrock Development Inc. plans to build a 17-story condominium complex with about 400 units in the Minneapolis Mill District near another condo tower the firm completed last year.
Jim Stanton, who owns Coon Rapids-based Shamrock, confirmed he has a deal buy the single-story, 189,000-square-foot vacant building at 121 12th Ave. S. from Riversource Life Insurance Co., a subsidiary of Minneapolis-based Ameriprise Financial Inc. Stanton will demolish that building to make way for the new condo project.

Nicollet Hotel Block

Public Meeting set for April 5th of the updated Nicollet Hotel Block Design, Streetcar Line, and Hennipen Ave Reconstruction.

NICOLLET HOTEL BLOCK - NEW DESIGNS (6:00 pm)
Provide input on Downtown's next landmark project
With new hotel and residential partners in place, United Properties will bring their new designs for the Nicollet Hotel Block redevelopment before the Downtown Minneapolis Neighborhood Association prior to moving forward with final City approval and land purchase.

United Properties won development rights for the former Nicollet Hotel site (bounded by Washignton Ave, Nicollet Mall, Hennepin Ave & 3rd St) through a competitive RFP process. Site challenges and hotel/residential partnership changes forced adjustments to the initial design. With a new architect and development partners in place, United will be ready to unveil revised designs in early April.

Old Renderings of the block. Excited for the new designs and projected start to this high profile project.
