LOL. There can be mishaps anywhere, and with anything.

Read carefully (2 a & b)...

One more thing about the facade, the lower floor facades will be inverted versions of the upper floors...

You can see it in the drawing as well...

I think that’s the point. The days of just putting up a building, and offering a “view” are over. If you wanna stand out - and in New York, you need to - then you may as well commit to it. There will be nothing like this in New York. Neither visually, nor actively. I like that all of our decks will offer different view, and different experiences. And whether people want to admit it or not, it’s a tourists’ town. And those people bring money with them. I can’t wait to see it.

I'm excited about this. That drop ride sounds epic. Also has a medicinal purposes, as therapy and rehabilitation for Acrophobia.

It seems the “drops” will be located on the north, west, and southern sides. The facade on the eastern side rises a little higher than the others. I’m nit sure what’s planned there, maybe more hotel amenities. But there is probably more to reveal about this tower. We’ll see the design for the drop rides submitted for approval, now that the drops themselves have been given approval. Ivstill want to see the overall, fully rendered tower. I think the crown itself reaches 1,100 ft or more.

This is indeed the rendering on all 3 sides...

Wow that was fast (UC I mean), I'm actually kind of excited to see how this turns out.

I wish it were a bit more symmetrical but I feel like I won't hate it as much when it's complete.

I think it'll be fine, very weird sure, but fine. And if it isn't, well so what. It'll just be one of many in New York City, and will especially be dwarfed by the nearby end of the PABT.

Not really fast, construction (foundation) permits were approved about a year ago. But they are further along than I thought they were. Seems like just yesterday the vendors were still on 8th Avenue.

This is a game changer/breaker IMO on so many levels.

One perceived visual/functional misstep at any point and in any conceivable developmental aspect can and *might* be disastrous.

No hyperbole.

Even most global cities have exercised moderate restraint with projects like these, I would think.

I remember making things like that with Legos when I was six.

So six-year-olds will love it!

My most memorable lego creation was a 2+ foot Sears Tower out of black bricks, like every black brick i had. This was like twenty years before Architecture legos. Other kids?... Tractors, weird cars, stupid stuff. Not this guy.

Japan has buildings with ferris wheels and roller coasters in Tokyo and Osaka.

This is a horrible design. It's what I imagine a building out of 1984 would look like. Or what the Nazis would have built in New York if they would have won.
