Hopefully, Amazon will lease all of 2 MW, and MS will go elsewhere like the Grand Hyatt site on 42nd or 350 Park.

Amazon is eyeing a return to New York City

One Manhattan West, by contrast, will be ready for tenants to move in this fall, including a 250,000-square-foot space in the middle of the 67-story tower. The 250,000-square-foot space won’t be available long-term, but could satisfy Amazon’s space needs until Two Manhattan is ready, sources said.

This tower which is nearly complete and full doesn't need Amazon. But they already least about 360,000 sf at 5 Manhattan West, so they may want to stay in or near the complex by moving in now, and moving out when the new tower is complete, maybe taking more space.

^ while the tower is not the most interesting design in the world, just look at that base -- exceptional quality!

also the glass is top shelf --

-- and of course not to mention the whole thing about building it, along with the rest of the new manhattan west neighborhood, over an open rail yard -- quite impressive.

The inner base design is reminiscent of the outside facade shape, the minimal bow halfway through. Like the previous poster mentioned, not an interesting design, but at the very least it is eye pleasing.

Just realized yesterday that the trees in front of the tower on 9th Ave were in full bloom, and makes that area more welcoming.
