Could be a prospective buyer doing soil samples, or the developer doing test bores. What does the side of the truck say?

I heard this is about to get sold to a developer currently undertaking a separate large project in the city.

Somewhat plausible yet completely vague and unverifiable. I like it.

It's true. Someone might build something here someday. At least, that's what my sources tell me.

From LSNA

The developer with whom we have been dealing, may in fact have to sell their rights to this area. However, we are advised that the proposed acquirer proposes to do virtually exactly what NPI proposed, which was largely acceptable to

Ah ha. Exactly what sources told someone who told me; plus it'll have some height, it's gonna cost a pretty penny, and will be financed by a big company. Now we're on to something. Put this under the construction section, already.

Oh, man. If that isn't the kiss of death, I don't know what is.

I bet those same sources who told someone who told you said it would be roughly in a box-like shape with squarish openings for glass-looking things. Did they say they intend to use something sort of like steel or concrete but maybe not exactly like that? I'm even guessing it'll probably have a people moving contraption, sort of like a dumbwaiter but maybe a little bigger! Love the vagueness around here about this one.

HA! JK Cro!

Now let's not jump the gun. Give those developers some breathing room to work out the specifics.

Guys, gttx's post was poking fun at jn00's comment. Are we not doing sarcasm any more?

I wouldn't dream of second guessing their work. I think what I mentioned is merely a nice framework around which to form something which is hopefully beautiful but at the very least is unobjectionable. You know you're from Philly when you pray something will at least be unobjectionable.

God, PMC is like the Decepticons, destroyer of dreams. Here comes more shoddy, cheaply built, pre-fab "luxury" shitholes. Is there no end to their evil deeds?

yeah the parking lot is much better. Lets keep status quo until we get a buyer who can deliver a world class 500 footer.

From today.

I have seen them doing more soil sampling or test bores the past few weeks on the big lot. I even saw them working along the tracks east of 22nd (currently used for parking) a few weeks back. I hope this means they are working on a plan for this lot.
