Sorry if it’s been asked. Is there any easy cutover from the river trail to the retail on River Walk?

A couple of not so great pictures but it does show where this building will show up in the skyline:

I just realized something.

PNC is claiming that the address of tower 2 will be 2301 JFK. Meanwhile they're also claiming that the new office tower proposed across the tracks is also 2301 JFK. They are certainly separate projects, what gives?

This is odd considering tower 2 in this project will not touch JFK. My guess is that the way the actual parcels are delineated, it could be that a single parcels encompasses the site of Tower 2, the RR tracks, and the space between that and JFK where the office tower would go. Either way, seems like they wouldn't want to stick a JFK address on any part of the River Walk as it would confuse people.

The addresses of the two towers are 30 N 23rd and 60 N 23rd. 2301 JFK is its own property.

The cladding - at least at the base of the tower - is an interesting poop brown color. The renders show glass on the tower portion so this might just be the back of the Giant.

First few pieces of glass are on the building now, West (River) facing side of the tower.

Maybe the best news - there was a lot of work going on at the site for the second tower, and drilling, and it looks like the core has added a floor after a long delay. I think it is safe to say tower #2 is full steam ahead now as well.

Look for it - to the left of Evo:

Yea the glass looks much better than I thought it would. This might be the first thing PMC builds that doesn't look totally value engineered.

In fairness, the One Franklin (old GSK) building re-do and glass looks pretty damn good too.

This complex is really going to stand out with that glass especially in comparison to those older condo and apts buildings in the immediate area on the Schuylkill, they look so Soviet, grey, and depressing.
