View from the Towpath in the Scranton Flats - Sherwin Williams tower is on the left, and the crane on the right is for City Club apartments.

In the immediate foreground, Great Lakes Brewing Co. cleared the site for future expansion, but no immediate plans. In the rubble strewn background is the site for the Peninsula, a development of 300ish market rate units, mostly in two “4 over 1” buildings and some townhouses. Not the pinnacle of design and planning but it’s going to transform this stretch, especially with an additional (different developer) 300 units going up in the Silver Hills project (ugh, the name ) across Carter Road.

Briefly pausing at the 16th floor to reset the concrete forms; the elevator core gets smaller as the building goes up so should be going up faster soon.

^ It is obvious from this aerial that Cleveland needs a lot more modern-looking buildings. This 616-footer is helpful.

These pictures really make me miss Cleveland. I lived there for 10 years, and it was probably the best time of my life. What a gem of a city.
