unfortunately I didn't bring my camera on my bike ride to Northerly Island this weekend, so all I have is this crappy phone shot where you can barely see Salesforce.

What are the cranes on the left from? Interesting to see something new on the skyline from here.

Some may loathe blue glass, but it I think looks fantastic during late dusk like shown here.

Man, those river shots downtown never fail. Chicago's riverfront is the most photogenic urban scenery in the country.

Oh hey everyone! Been a while. I'm still around and busy as ever (also prepping for a move...just a few blocks away). Shot this earlier last week. Kind of surprised I could get the entirety of Wolf Point + Salesforce's crown with room to spare from the Lake Street bridge

Thanks! I think it looks great from this angle. Hope the setbacks on the east side are well defined one they’re glassed up. Looking west from Michigan/Wabash, it’s very monolithic.

Awesome shot, thanks for posting. This angle/perspective really makes the final setback soar a bit more than other shots I've seen.

Just a friendly reminder to everyone that this entire site (WPW / Salesforce / WPE) was a surface parking lot less than 10 years ago.

and not only has the parking lot on the river been obliterated, but as I frequently mention, the apparel center has finally been fully relegated to "background building" status, as it always should have been. It's not the worst building in the world or anything, but it was never worthy of the 4+ decades of front and center attention it received from sitting all alone on one of the most visible and prominent pieces of land in the whole damn city.

Thanks for the illustration. I now appreciate the new trio much better, whereas I (and many others) previously found them too short for such a prominent location.
