Side note: Happy to see people mostly respecting the bus lanes

I only get a slight sense of the scale of this scene from pictures. I'm sure it's much more intense in person.

Massive site, really excited to see this go up - only wish it had a grade level plaza, but the towers make up for that with their sleek forms.

Going up - note how the vertical runs are made of "shorter" bars bolted together - t here are couplers on the top of these bars as well.

Ready to have the floor tied in.

Support column built into the secant wall.

Looks like a planter to me

Shiny new climbing forms.

Took a quick detour on my way home from Mass and pulled over to snap a couple of pictures. I'm hoping now that this is out of the ground we'll see her start to fly.

Great Pics. Like the details.
Also, everyones pics of this going up makes me realize how many ugly buildings there are in this neighborhood from seeing them in the background.

It's really just Asbury Plaza ; the rest are tasteful for the most part given their eras.

Bella Luna is great and all but I'm still shocked that they couldnt be bought out with the building having no historic significance.

Ok...I don't want to bash my Chicago that much. Just the one shot by Harry C with all the boring residential towers behind the church kinda what elicited that post from me.

This will be a cool addition to that neighborhood. Excited to see this baby start to get some height!

Simply stunning, Harry.

Four photos up, to the left in the background, does anyone know what Power's trailers are doing at 20 W Chicago? Is that a new development? I'm guessing they're for One Chicago but am open to being pleasantly surprised about more action nearby.

Sadly they are just parked there - for this project.

^The separate address was what threw me off.

Thanks to One Chicago, it's only a matter of time before 20 W Chicago lot goes poof.
