Great pics of one of my favorite places. San Antonio is a unique place. If you ever have the chance to visit do go.

^ Great work.
I forgot to tell you, congratulations for your drone license.
I mean it. These are obviously awesome pictures.

Now you can handle a tool to make things like this.

Thank you. I don't have a license yet. I'm only registered for noncommercial use, which means I can't legally make money from these photos. I need to get a license.

More beautiful photos of beautiful city. Although, that tower makes me think of Calgary. Or maybe it's just because this thread is above one about Calgary at the moment.

You chose a good time to photograph the city. Lovely skies and lighting. I was wondering about those weird artifacts/outlines in the background of the 4th picture. Looks like multiple pictures were not merged properly or something.

No, that was done using layers of the same photo in Photoshop, with some layers using the "find edges" and/or "oil paint" filters and then using layer settings like "overlay" and other types along with varying levels of opacity. Basically I futz around with a bunch of layers until I get something that looks interesting to me. Actually, the second and third photos also have that done to them, but to a much lesser degree.

Thank you, Sir! That's one of my favorite photos, too, but it's because the lens angle and street layout create a large X pattern.

Great photos! I visited San Antonio back in 2018 and was very impressed with their downtown. And not just The Riverwalk, but the downtown streets too. I had been there once before back around 1990. At that time Riverwalk was impressive, but downtown streets were very sleepy.
It’s also such a contrast from Austin given that San Antonio’s skyline has hardly changed in 30 years. But the streetscape has really improved Imo.

I have always loved San Antonio. My one regret is that I didn’t stay there after finishing school. Outstanding job capturing San Antonio’s warmth.

I'm not sure San Antonio would know what to do with them.

Thanks again. I should have more as I become less terrified of flying this thing...or more accurately... less terrified of crashing or losing it. I keep reminding myself I paid extra for technology that makes it less likely either of those will happen.
