Let me help you out a bit ...

This was a recent NBJ article featuring images created by Centric Architecture, which includes most of the latest projects in downtown. Does not include several large towers in Midtown, which is to the left (outside) of the photo as well as some of the most recent proposals

What's cooler than our Nashville Crane Watch map? A 3-D version, of course

And the eye candy:

Crazy how recent those are and how outdated they already are...for example, the Cambria Suites, Embassy Suites, W Hotel, and both multi-story tower proposals discussed recently

That's gorgeous! Hopefully we'll see an announcement for this Rolling Mill Hill development soon. Thank you for sharing.

Isn't it insane? I've practically given up on trying to keep track of everything. That's a fantastic problem for Nashville to have.

^^^This is apparently one of the proposals to develop City-owned land at the foot of the KVB bridge. The Metro Development and Housing Authority (MDHA) has asked for proposals to develop land at this location from several developers. This is one that was accidentally (or was it?) posted by the design firm.

Looks like the lot where the Lifeway HQ was once proposed is to be a five story office in this proposal. The lots are zoned for up to 30 stories.

A crude update of the Centric Renderings....

...in yellow from left to right, the Preston family development at 6th and Ash, one of the MDHA proposals on KVB and the two tower NCI proposal on 1st and Second Avenues.

Nashville to be HQ for Hankook Tire

Let's hope this announcement that Hankook Tire has chosen Nashville for its headquarters will lead to a new tower in SoBro or the Gulch. Maybe this announcement coincides with one of the two previous announcements for major developments in the SoBro area. Having an anchor for either of those projects would really boost the potential of at least one coming to fruition a lot sooner. If so, I hope it's the multi building complex with the 40 story tower announced for the south end of SoBro.

Of course South Korea (where Hankook is based) has some really unique buildings, so I'd love to see Hankook build a tower in Nashville that is uniquely different than what we've seen built and/or proposed.

That is not an "article!" It's a promotion for a competing website.

From the Nashville Post...as a current tenant of the property at 30th and Vanderbilt Place is moving out.

The project will be 11 floors in the western edge of Mid-Town.

Another day, another skyscraper proposal for Nashville. This one is called Crescent Demonbreun and slated to rise 35 stories and 409 feet in the lot next to the future JW Marriott.

Interesting. I'd love to see more angles of the tower. It has potential!

Turnberry drops the office, we gain a new apartment proposal, the largest thus far in Nashville, after 505, less than 8 months later.

The proposals are getting larger and taller, and this shows this is how a city evolves as it booms. Once the bar is set and achieved, it is raised yet again. Austin is an excellent example of how this has happened recently.

When will someone dare to hit 50 stories or above?

By the way, lost in all the 30 to 40 story towers announced in the past week (five new ones, total) is a modest, but intriguing proposal for apartments next to the ballpark which are intentionally reminiscent of the warehouse across from Camden Yards in Baltimore.

The low-rise Germantown location is gradually growing on me.

Low rise buildings are certainly appropriate for Germantown. Expecially on the north side of Jefferson Street. As for the area where the baseball stadium is located, I wouldn't have an issue with 10-20 story buildings. While I'm not big on overly restricted regulations on height, for that area some reasonable guidelines are appropriate given the existing residential structures. I'm assuming also that the developers probably do not want to obstruct views of the skyline.

I think it's okay to go above 20 stories in the area bound by James Robertson Pkwy and the railroad tracks. Although I think it is unlikely that developers will do that simply because there's no focus in that area and more than likely it will be an area for more residential development than office development. Of course if the metro criminal justice building stays in that area there probably won't be any development anyway except for maybe on JRP.

I looks like the criminal justice building will stay where it is.

Another skyline mashup with the Crescent Demonbruen added.

Sorta to scale and sorta chronological. The purpose is to just show what kind of city could be built just from under construction and on the drawing board projects in Nashville.

Tri-Brand Marriott

The Tennessean recently reported that financing for the Tri-Brand Marriott has been secured by the developer. The hotel will be a combination of AC Hotel, Residence Inn and SpringHill Suites. The Tennessean also reported that the project will now be 21 stories as opposed to the original 19 stories.

This is the latest rendering of the hotel property...
