Does OSHA (or some other regulatory arm) require construction elevators be put in once a building is x floors? If so, what's the magic number?

I doubt that is regulated by OSHA, probably more a function of productivity and justification of the rental costs of the construction lift. It's not really unsafe for people to use the stairs, just time consuming and tiring. Plus you need enough floors to properly anchor the lift.

I feel like this is the one to watch carefully for 2017 as its been above ground and ready to pick up steam in its vertical climb.

Until 1911 walnut and 1910 chestnut projects (or SLS, but that seems less likely) break ground this is going to be the top attraction under construction once CTC tops out in a few weeks.

1911 Walnut will probably be the big one, as that is much more prominently located than this. Rittenhouse Square is vast, and allows plenty of different angles at 1911 Walnut. The W may be the taller building, but it's actually in a location that's harder to photograph. I would expect much of the same angle being posted on this forum as the W rises. 1910 Chestnut is a cool building, but it's under 500 feet and also not as prominent as the others. That, and it is located very close to 1911 Walnut.

We've gotten some great inside perspective pictures from Whu. Hopefully that won't change. Still get great pictures from thisisforreal. Not many pictures of the other side, but you can actually get them by walking in the little loading passageway/dog walk between this building and the Ritz Residences. And from the Ritz driveway.

With toilets, it's always good to see some kind of movement.

So now that's you've had a couple cold days. I'll ask the question again, work in the rain or work in cold weather like today?

Whu answered this before. He said he'd rather work in negative degrees than the rain.

It's not cold yet, coldest I've worked was -27° wind chill

Been working outside since 1994, this will be my 5th high rise. First was The Ritz and I'll still take anything over rain.
