Some things to consider:
There's a height limit downtown Hamilton of ~30 storeys:
https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/hamil...plan-1.4623787

The Pigott building is a residential/condo building with windows starting at the 2nd storey on the north elevation - so that rules out my nice 7-8 storey streetwall.

The MacNab bus terminal and ramp eliminates that street for vehicular access to the site.

Yeah a reasonable separation from windows makes sense, but i'll probably ignore the height limit, since 3 buildings are already taller than it and we're supposedly offering Hamilton once-a-decade architecture to redefine the skyline.

i think sketchup has a model of downtown hamilton with fairly low accuracy, but enough to give the building a sense of scale. I've been busy and forgot about this lol, but will play if you play

love the hammer motif!

Cool thanks dleung. Just installed a bunch of ram and a new graphics card for work so now I can model fast again.

^Blah. I've been feeling unmotivated/uninspired this past month. If I don't find the energy to redesign it I'm stuck with

Courtyard Towns at The James MacNab Residences - Hamilton

The James/MacNab Residences: Twin 44 storey towers with ~700 condo units, 35 affordable rental apartments and 11 condo town homes in the podium. Six retail units and plenty of underground parking.

Still working on the MacNab elevation.
