Could 75 Nassau be changed to 498 feet and 40 floors.

Thread: http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/showthread.php?t=214449

Recent info and permits state:

Quote:
The ODA Architecture-designed building will rise 40 stories and will have retail space on the first two floors, according to permits filed with the city’s Department of Buildings. There will be offices on the third and fourth floors.

According to the building permit, the high-rise will top out at 498 feet, nearly half the 800 feet that previously was reported. The residential portion will measure 189,780 square feet with another 39,203 square feet of commercial space.
Thanks

Quote:
Kevin Maloney’s Property Markets Group is planning to build a 70-story mixed-use tower at the edge of Queensboro Plaza in Long Island City, according to an application filed with the city Department of Buildings today.

The 772-foot-tall building at 29-37 41st Avenue will span nearly 830,000 square feet and hold 930 apartments. There will also be nearly 15,000 square feet of commercial space.

The Houston and Denver Skyhouse projects are still digging. They haven't quite yet actually started construction on the actual building.

Until the actual construction of the foundations themselves are occurring, it shouldn't be called construction. Digging, drilling or even cranes or other equipment on site shouldn't count. I know it's technical, but we shouldn't count it as construction until the building itself is actually starting to be constructed. There are at least 4 Austin projects in the same situation. Each have site prep/excavation going on with the construction pit dug and even holes being drilled, but no concrete is being poured yet for the foundations or any columns or caissons placed.

It should start soon, though. I don't think any of these Skyhouse towers have sub-levels, and all their parking is in above ground parking. The one in Austin didn't, and it shot up quick.

Could 1 Manhatten West be moved to the supertall construction thread? Hunser pointed out rebar which signifies construction. It is also over the minimum requirement of 984 ft or greater.

This post shows a contruction shot from today, 3/19 : http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/show...postcount=1365

Could "NEW YORK | 2010 Census data | 8,175,133 City (8,405,837 - 2014)"

Be changed too:

NEW YORK | 2010 Census data | 8,175,133 City (8,491,079 - 2014)

The value is "8,491,079" based on the census results on the 25th of March.

Done. I also moved the Denver Skyhouse thread since they've placed 3 or 4 caissons.

"NEW YORK | One Riverside Park | 345 FT | 33 FLOORS" is complete.

Tower has occupants, a number to call the receptionist at the tower, and cityrealty confirms open viewing of potential apartments for sale. Recently, as of yesterday, another apartment for open-tours was listed.

Could "NEW YORK | 11 East 31st Street | 33 FLOORS"

be renamed to:

NEW YORK | 11 East 31st Street | 335 FT | 32 FLOORS

6sqft confirms the height/floors and this is from January 2015, where they said:

Quote:
After lying fallow for years, the site of the city’s first Commune Hotel at 11 East 31st Street is abuzz with construction activity and has risen to street level.
This being in January, so its safe to assume that construction is occurring even though this is an obscure site with limited construction images. Even tried to check a twitter or facebook but the Kuafman Developer doesn't have one.
