Aston Martin Sets Its Eyes on Miami for Its First-Ever Luxury Condo

Quote:
Luxury automotive brands including Mercedes, Porsche, and Pininfarina (the Italian design house whose core client is Ferrari) have all announced or opened branded residential towers. Now bespoke British manufacturer Aston Martin has followed suit, announcing its participation, in partnership with G and G Business Developments and Revuelta Architecture, in a high-end high-rise tower—the Aston Martin Residences—on the last remaining waterfront site along Miami’s Biscayne Bay.

Aston Martin chief creative officer and design head Marek Reichman will be responsible for the public spaces, including two lobbies, a fitness center, and a spa, using finishes and sensibilities in line with the 104-year-old automaker’s exquisite, clubby vehicles. “And if some of the customers say, we would love for you to design our interior,” Reichman says, “we will be happy to do that, too.”

Despite the building’s name, Reichman notes that the branding exercise is “everything but literal.” There will not be any automotive amenities such as drive-in elevators or car concierges. Neither will the apartments reflect the proportions or shape of car designs. Rather, the connection will be experiential. “What you will get is exactly what you will get sitting in an Aston Martin DB11 on a long journey, and that is a sense of involvement and comfort,” Reichman says. “The most amazing thing about the DB11 for me is that it’s an incredibly powerful sports car, but you can sit in that car for a long time and still remain motivated and enjoy your environment. Which is just how you want to feel at home.”

Cervera Will Handle Sales At Aston Martin Residences, Groundbreaking In Summer 2017

Quote:
The 66-story waterfront tower will break ground in summer 2017.

MIAMI, FL – December 8, 2016 – G and G Business Developments has named Cervera Real Estate as the exclusive brokerage firm for Aston Martin Residences at 300 Biscayne Boulevard Way, a 66-story luxury condominium set to rise in downtown Miami next year. Positioned along the waterfront where the Miami River meets Biscayne Bay, the tower marks the Aston Martin brand’s first foray into luxury living. The addition of the Cervera sales team comes as G and G Business Developments prepares to complete construction of the project’s sales centre, which is scheduled to open at the end of March 2017. Construction of the luxury tower will get underway in the summer of 2017.

Global property developer G and G Business Developments has a reputation for pursuing innovative projects with a clear vision which ensures the delivery of exceptional results. Cervera Real Estate was selected in large part for its extensive relationships with the global real estate community in key markets around the world, according to German Coto, CEO of G and G Business Developments, the luxury real estate brand of Argentina’s Coto family. “With more than 45 years of experience and deep knowledge of the industry, Cervera Real Estate is the perfect addition to our team. Cervera shares our company’s values, our love of Miami, and our belief that Aston Martin Residences at 300 Biscayne Boulevard Way is among the world’s most unique residential properties,” said Mr. Coto.

“Cervera takes tremendous pride in representing Aston Martin Residences Miami developed by G and G Business Developments, who bring an unmatched reputation for success in its fields,” said Alicia Cervera of Cervera Real Estate. “Miami continues to evolve thanks in large part to its exciting real estate market, yet it’s not every day that we have an opportunity to market a development that will redefine the skyline and luxury living, as the Aston Martin Residences Miami will.”

The 66-floor luxury residential building will include approximately 390 condos ranging from one to four bedrooms offering panoramic bay and ocean views. The development will also feature seven penthouse residences and a duplex penthouse, all with private pools and terraces.

Aston Martin’s design team will design the building’s interior common spaces including the two private lobbies, the two-level fitness center with ocean views and full-service spa amongst other shared spaces within the development.

By TNM Staff on December 21, 2016

Aston Martin Residences will include over-the-top amenities, including a helipad on the rooftop, a super yacht marina behind the building, and private outdoor pools on balconies for buyers of penthouse units.

Details of the building including floor plans and pricing have been released as sales are now underway.

Units with private pools on the balcony will be priced at a premium, with penthouse units on levels 56-60 costing up to $35 million.

Below the penthouses, there will be four levels of amenities for residents, on levels 52-55. An infinity edge pool will overlook the water on the 55th floor.

The project is already in contract, so buyers will need to place an immediate 10% deposit for their unit. As with other Miami condo projects, a 50% deposit is due at top off.

MrDreTheOne.... I agree that..... This thread's name should be changed to Aston Martin Residences. !

Nice. I like the info. Also, yes with the rename. Mods, can we rename this? Thanks

Too many "Biscaynes" in adresses or towers. "Aston Martin Residences" is distinct!

They are asking nearly $3000 per square foot for the condos:

http://www.bizjournals.com/southflor...than-2800.html

Quote:
Aston Martin Residences priced at more than $2,800 a square feet

The recently announced Aston Martin Residences has aimed for record-setting condo pricing in downtown Miami, with the smallest units starting at $2,865 a square foot.

G and G Business Developments, the luxury real estate arm of the Argentine Coto family, revealed the much-anticipated pricing of its 390-unit condo at 300 Biscayne Boulevard Way. It will be the first condo branded by high-end U.K. car maker Aston Martin.

Some brokers were circulating emails with estimated pricing for the condos, so the developer released the official pricing information to clear things up.

Units will range from 698 square feet to 18,811 square feet, with the latter size being the penthouses in the 66-story building. Prices are $2 million to $8.5 million for conventional units, and up to $50 million for the penthouses. Therefore, the price per square foot for the smallest unit would be $2,865.

That would more than double the asking price of the most expensive new condos in downtown Miami. According to the Miami Downtown Development Authority’s midyear residential market study by Integra Realty Resources, the most expensive new condo is the Zahad Hadid-designed One Thousand Museum, with an average price of $1,287 a square foot, followed by Echo Brickell, at $1,258 a square foot. The average for all new condos in greater downtown Miami was $685 a square foot, so Aston Martin Residences is truly at another level.

Aston Martin Residences Releases New Renderings And Details

Quote:
Aston Martin Residences has released a new set of renderings for their building whose design was inspired by an Aston Martin DB11. They are making it clear that this partnership is in fact a complete partnership, not just a licensing agreement.

The interiors of the building will have the same lighting scheme, design and feel of the interiors of their signature hand-made car. The same jeweler who places the Aston Martin logo on the hood of the cars will be the jeweler who places the unit numbers on the residence doors. A $2.3 million Aston Martin Vulcan will be the center piece of their $12 million sales center, which is currently under construction. There are only 8 of these cars in the world, and Miami’s was delivered last week.

Despite the fact that the sales center does not open until around Mother’s Day, 25 of the 391 residences have already been spoken for. They will feature floor to ceiling glass without any visible concrete whatsoever. Even the support beams will be encased in glass for an elegant and timeless feel… just like the cars. The project is expected to break ground in October of this year.

According to the FAA application, the tower would rise 816 feet above ground. The project site at the mouth of the Miami River sits four feet above sea level, making the total height 820 feet.

Panorama Tower recently became Miami’s tallest at 85-stories – 868 feet above ground, and 876 feet above sea level.

At least the developers are moving forward since they have a premium site. They paid $125 Million for less than 1 acre of land. This tower should be a supertall and over 1000 feet at least.
The views would be amazing and they can recoup their investment building that tall.

If this were 200 feet taller, this would be perfect for Miami's tallest. Regardless, this is a nice building.

In typical Miami Real Estate fashion, a giant model of Aston Martin residences, and a particularly hot one on the far right.

Great.

Miami is one of my favorite cities. Sadly, most of its new buildings are lame, but this one is great.

What about the two 1,000' mixed use towers which were proposed? Are either of them rising or about to start? I think one was by KPF, and it looked nice.

^^^^

Bayfront will most likely start in 2019. Hollo and Florida East Coast Realty are pushing aggressively for an early start. If we are lucky, Q4 of 2018.

300 Biscayne by PMG will be first going through sales. I expect that one late 2018 to rise.

The nice thing about pre-sales is that there isn't a big rush to get the whole tower filled, and other towers in terms of pre-sales have been doing very well. 300 Biscayne has a very high probability IMO of rising. Both these towers are 300m+.
