I see a tower and I want it painted black
No colors anymore, I want them to turn black

^This view isn't seen often, but it's beautiful nevertheless. It's always refreshing to see photos of the Chicago skyline in which Sears/Willis does not dominate!

https://tallshipwindy.com/ - returning to Navy Pier Tuesday - tours should start soon.

[ correction they don't usually go that far north - but still great place for shots ]

^^^^Palm olive is a gem. Kinda wish in was fronting Mich. ave. along grant park but wouldn't trade it for anything when I'm driving south on LSD at night.

That is US Gypsum's brilliant marketing move - all their wallboard has a distinctive bright green facing.

Always loved watching the ore boats unload at their Waukegan plant.

I dont see why they would do temporary lighting if they had to take it down later. Seems like a waste of money. Might be permanent.

Anybody have insight on when the construction lift/elevator is coming down?

It seems like it is taking forever to close this building up.
