Hong Kong Victoria Harbor skyscrapers do a lot of that outlining. Those buildings are lit up like a Xmas tree at night!

One nice selling feature of these units is the outdoor space and it's covered as opposed to just a bacony that juts out from the building. It also looks like a good size, enough for a nice set of patio furniture.

Arthaus floor plan by Philly SkyGuy, on Flickr

I was up on this floor last week and I loved the little part of the floor plate that pops out south past the core, it lets you look out over 180 degrees. But if I were to buy a unit I would buy one on the north side facing the Center City towers

That's a great question. I've always wondered how much physically higher a building might go over and above the "topping out" piece.

The core is actually topped out, but the roof has not been made yet. You can see above that the scaffolding is being set up for the core, but the future parapet will be high above the topped core. So only the core is topped as of now, not the whole structure. Notice they took the concrete pump off of the core, and there is also an american flag on the very top of the core, reaching 528 feet

I'm really happy that the Laurel and Art Haus are not just glass wall facades - both will bring some texture and contrast to the skyline.

The Arthaus will shimmy once I drive north and south along Broad St. It's the best skyscraper in Broad since City Hall!
