Coyote Logistics picks Detroit for tech hub

Great news. 500 jobs, and in Detroit as well instead of the suburbs.

Tired of all of the douchebaggery out there turning their backs on the midwest because it's not "cool" like Austin.

Glad they chose Detroit:

^ Good news for Detroit and Chicago. They are going to locate in DT Detroit. Cheers to our lakefront brethren.

Yeah, this site is across the street from a huge cultural park that's about to start construction, including a sunken bike path in a railroad corridor that will directly connect to the Coyote Building. It's also a few blocks from Michigan Central Station and the Michigan Ave restaurant row...

Yeah, pretty neat little park they are developing. Detroit's been developing its riverfront from bridge-to-bridge (MacArthur to Ambassador). They've done most of the east riverfront, and are now concentrating on the riverfront west of dowtown.

Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Centennial Park

Coyote's new Detroit branch can be seen in the first rendering.

They will be on two floors sandwiched between ground floor retail and two floors of apartments.
