St. Catharines is fairly unique in that they still use one from 1972

I'm going to guess the font of 1972 was bold/thick!
My friend that's a graphic designer would always tell me about different designs "see this. this font is too thick"
The bend makes sense if you've ever driven north on Hwy 406 past downtown St. Catharines. plus it forms an 'SC' pattern
