Been a busy month, but it's been mostly on behind-the-scenes stuff:
I've been trying to revitalize the small community of people that make paper models like these. Most of my time has been spent working on a new website to list my models and models other people have made. It will also have content to teach people how to create their own models. Still a work in progress.
I had started making a how-to video, but then put it on pause until I have a website I can point people to in the video.
The model I made for the video did get finished, and some of you might enjoy seeing it, as it is from San Antonio.
One week I did get a little distracted building several model files made by other modelers, so now I've got a few cool Asian buildings added to my collection as well as a growing San Fransisco skyline.
I was invited to be part of Downtown Austin Alliance's Future of Downtown event. Been working on how I'm going to set up my display for that and getting some templates for passing out to attendees. If any of you are going to be there, make sure to come say hi!
Not much Austin-wise, but once I can finish these things I'll get back to finishing the Colorado Tower and 44 East/Nativo blocks that I've started.
