You really gotta have over 2gigs of Ram though to get anywhere.
Mine can handle up to 164mb models without having to play any tricks.

Its not due until Nov 15th right? I have my model done, I just need to do some lighting and set up a good scene. I will probably turn mine in Friday.

Guys im new to this stuff. I have sketchup, but where do you get the windows and all the details on your models?

We make it all by hand (er... mouse). There is a window plugin on Sketchup main website, but even that requires modification.

A highly detailed model take a very, very long time. Nothing is done for you in 3d modelling.

doesn't matter. I usually take a day after the deadline just in case someone wants to enter late anyways. Then the other days I don't make the comp poll is because I forget

Having some major rendering problems here. I will submit mine tomorrow. The model is done but the lighting needs finishing and I can't render the whole thing.
