i suppose it couldn't hurt to say who i voted for and why.

i chose Flyersfan's Aurora Boardwalk Hotel and Casino. the whole complex was a very believable design. i loved the details of the arched gateway leading to the boardwalk and the tunnel on the opposite side. this one most seemed like a complex to me, not that a complex has to match, but the fact this one did i liked and made it more like a complex.

"the bride in the middle" lol, menage a trois
I voted for yours Vertical but yeah I made a similar concept with the bridge in the middle and 2 towers to the sides. People have seen it in this thread but the buildings look way way different and so does the bridge. The idead is similar that's the point.

Oceania Plaza
The only reason I didnt vote for the Oceania Plaza, is the Western Tower, its not much of an inpseration, more like a flat out copy of the Smith Tower, the only thing different is the arched windows atop, which look nice but look like they have no purpose. The Other towers are great, especially the tallest one, all sleek modern and new. I just dont like the name "1 Residential"? Maybe something like One Oceania Plaza, or 1Oceania. Anyways the planning and effort is great
The name of the tower isn't 1 Residential, that's the name of the Company which "started" a new condo/hotel chain called "1." But yeah the Western Tower is way too much of a rip off of the Smith Tower. I just didn't have an idea and that is the only building (along with its annex) that don't match.

Hey! I took a pic of the Smith Tower just like that but I couldn't figure out how to upload it into Wiki so I didn't. Oh, out of topic, I broke my cameras flash .

most complex's were built all at once, which is the problem with yours. WTC was expanded, but within years of original construction and to the same style.

He could have gained more points by making more "1" black and gold towers and connecting them with low bridges. PErhaps you shpuld remake it a lil bit for La Corte and it will look just

I'll look for those towrs, i don't think i'¡ve seen em. Anyway, my idea was that the skybridge was a big building supported like a hanging bridge by the two counterweights. Anyuway I love it that we share that concept, we should keep it alive.

Posts explaining in the next edit.

hmmm...I.D.K. Vertical, we should start enforcing rules for comps so that they don't go out of control. You should make a city and add it to that city finished.

So wait, (sorry but this is off topic) how do you know English so clearly if you live in Argentina?

hm, I guess it's kinda weird. Most of my Argie friends never lived abroad and we communicate in English as esaily and even as oftenly as in Spanish.
It might have something to do with the fact that: European and Argentine TV and movies SUCK so badly, soo so badly and So does music. So I began listening Smashing Pumpkins when I was 13, learning the lyrics n accent, and began downloading Simpsons episodes OL.
Now it's come to the point that 90% of what I read, listen and watch is in English, and probably 70% of what I write.
I've travelled to the states a couple of times 2 weeks max, and I've lived in London for more than a month, but that's it. I think it's the internet phenomena
Now that I moved alone I don't even have a TV, who needs one when I can download the last South PArk episod (LMAO Guitar Queer-O BTW) about 3 hours after it aires in the states. And without commercials.

This was the original concept with 4 towrs.

Then I realized two towers were useless (stability-wise), so I took them off to make it lighter and keep the ground level free for trees and gardens

well the plan was of the 4 towrs concept but not THOSE towers...

The name was Puertas del Plata

In Buenos Aires and Uruguay we refer to the big estuary called River Plate or Rio de la plata as just "El Río" or "El Plata" in formal chic accepted slang.

So it's far more commercial if you'd change it to:

1) Puertas del Plata / Gates of the Plate (no s in plate)
2) Puertas del Rio / Rivergate

if you don't feel like editing just take that S off "river plates" thanks
