eyesores diminished

One of the many nice things about these new towers is that 9W57 and the GM building are no longer so obvious.

NYC and lightning with ominous clouds, ideally at night, go hand-in-hand.

Always adds a lot to the vibe.

It hard to get an exact read on the current height. I think parts of the roof may be at different heights now as I cant get a look at the actual concrete roof from the downtown view. However looking at the building from the most recent uptown shot as here:

https://www.instagram.com/p/B1eYHqCAVbe/

...CPT looks like its has reached its final roof height of 1515 ft. Note the very high ceiling top floor in line with the schematics. If that top floor ceiling height is about 15-18ft tall as it looks to be, than that would be the top/last habitable floor before the parapet.

I note from the downtown views of CPT it is much harder to assess the height as the building is covered in netting. j

Where do you get 1,515 from? I thought it was 1,550??

I think the roof of the building, from the portion at least that faces uptown (north) might be at its terminal height of 1515’ ft. The parapet that is built over the roof does of course rise to 1550’ ft. J

IIRC, the highest occupied floor is 1450' ...15 feet below the space deck floor in the CN Tower.
