Wow, some of the shots of Manhattan from afar look downright futuristic, like something done in the 1990's about 'Manhattan in 2050'. So much happening right now that is totally and utterly changing the skyline.

I hope they bring the spire back. This tower needs the spire as a terminus architectural element like the desert needs water.

I really wish MoMA tower didn't get it's height reduced. Had it been built ten years ago at the current height it would have been an icon, but it's just been so quickly overshadowed on all sides by 432, Steinway and CP tower. I wish it was up there with those 3, because it's an amazing design.

Yes, the yellow netting recently moved up to the 4th floor in the crown and the rebar is going up now.

Tectonic
5th floor in the crown will be 1,488 feet and 6th floor will be 1,500. Roof is 1,515
