Might be slow, but that's fast compared to the last 2 years of construction...

Quite right. We'll think it's veritably whizzing along.

Naw, you would have updated the database if the increase was approved.

Oh I plan to do just that when the time comes, but I somehow expect the increased height application will be shot down by council...

Silly that they would complain about a few metres on an already-approved building.

It looks ever so slightly larger than when I last saw it a year ago, so it's definitely moving along.

There's more work going on these days. Was across the street at One Bloor last night and they were working on The One through the evening into the dark.

One of the cooler modern skyscrapers I've seen rising. Very nice for Toronto.

It is a bit like NYC's Penn15, but not crap.

Penn 15 isn't crap but I get what you're trying to say.

Oh man, that aerial rendering - presumably from 2035, when this project finally opens - is amazing.

It's a great render, but by 2035 there will be many more towers than are shown, including the 1,100-ft 1200 Bay St. Here is steveveve's Yonge/Bloor render, which I believe includes all proposals:

continuing on it's way up.. 3rd hotel floor now being poured. it's finally notably picking up speed, even if it's not a particularly break-neck pace. Looking like about 2 weeks a floor right now. This floor is the first time the building has added height in probably 6 months, and also seems to be indicating that they are done with major structural steel elements and will be doing a more traditional poured concrete construction from here on up.

This tower hasn't been approved for 339m. Its 309m and the always useless city counsel wont budge on that. Correct me if I am wrong because this tower looks ridiculous at 309 m with the top tier chopped in half?
