The building you refer to is actually One Riverside, completed in 2017. And the top two floors of the mechanical crown will be lit up, as the lights will be behind the X braced crown to show off the X's

FYI As a local resident I just received notice that Walnut from 18th to 20th is closed tomorrow morning through Sunday night for the crane removal.

This is the most impressive feat of all: they tore the cafe down and completely rebuilt the facade. It looks superb.

^ Equinox gym is taking space in the podium. I also thought a Michael Schulson restaurant concept was included somewhere. Not sure what else.

A striking skyline, probably one of the country's top 5 in terms of aesthetics, and The Laurel is contributing to it appreciably. After playing with Street View on Google Maps, I figured that this photo was taken on the South Street Bridge.
