Charlottetown's draft official plan looks up, rather than out
CBC NEWS PEI
The draft plan identifies two types of areas in the city, called nodes and corridors, where higher-density buildings would be allowed, up to six storeys in corridors and eight storeys in nodes......
Like I said before, if the NIMBYS in this city won't allow more people to live downtown, and that's only going to happen with higher development, then move the downtown. The idea of curbing sprawl is finally catching on, and this is a good start. Build up, and I think we'll see more developers interested in contributing now that the genie has been let out of the bottle. This is the only option to eliminate the housing shortage in this city. Onward and upward!!
