Hmmmm on the layout. Even though it's only 5-6 vendors, it seems like it will be a cluster-youknowwhat around the counters when people queue up to order.

Pretty great that an already dense pocket of Midtown is really growing a lot more dense with new construction, but with no new emphasis on street traffic/cars... only pedestrians.
Comparing this picture to the site plan on page 5, is it just me or does it look like the space that is "The Lawn" has gotten smaller? Like the building juts out into the space now. Seems like that sightline from The Lawn to Peachtree is gone now.
A Chicago seafood restaurant is coming to Atlanta with its first location outside the Windy City.
Brown Bag Seafood Co. will open at Midtown's Colony Square, according to plans filed with the City of Atlanta. The restaurant will take up 1,532 square feet in Unit 145 at 1201 Peachtree St. NE. Construction on the space is expected to cost $200,000, per the filing.
The mini-chain, founded by owner Donna Lee in 2014, has seven brick-and-mortar locations in Chicago, plus another six "docks" that serve as delivery outposts.
Brown Bag operates is a fast-casual restaurant with a check-the-box menu. Diners pick their choice of seafood and base -- which can range from beds of grains and veggies to sandwiches and tacos -- and finish off the order with selections of sides and beverages. A few house entrees -- lobster roll, dinner plate with two sides and garlic bread, fish and chips, and shrimp and grits -- are on offer as well. Draught beer, batch cocktails and wine are available for those of age.

I think you are right and this is rather unfortunate. IMO the Jones Day building is to squat for the site - it could have been higher and narrower and taken up less room of what was a potentially larger public space on 15th and Peachtree. The whole CS revision looks a little kutcha.
Embassy Suites @ Atlantic Station, too! And that new building across the railroad tracks from Atlantic Station on the wedge shaped parcel is cleared now.
I drove by Atlantic Station yesterday evening and the giant hole where a dual hotel is supposed to be going had "brown" fencing covering the entire metal fence-in block. Is construction starting on this block?
I'll dip by there today and see if anything is actually happening.
