I drove by today and it looked like the 4th deck (5th floor) was almost done. It really does seem like this is flying up

You can also see the front of the building design - /\ taking shape.

I updated the building height to 180 feet on the first post due to an email Avenue North sent out this morning - celebrating the building's 14 foot floors + crown (12 floors), again it is an estimate, but I think 180 feet is more accurate.

14×14("total" floor count)=196. And in the renderings that point will go over the horizontal beams for the top "floor" beams, so this could be just over 200 feet I believe

Cardio, baby. Get those steps in.

Seriously though I didn't think about it until you mentioned but yeah, weird that there's no obvious shaft.

You can save on the elevator if nobody goes to the office anymore

12 floors are up, still need to work on the roof, and the mechanical level/crown. This thing went up with amazing speed.

From a far (Incyte Pharma complex in the foreground):

AI duPont Hospital and Nemours Estate tower on left:

It looks like work on the next phase of Avenue North may also start soon - which appears to be one the residential buildings:

Looks like the parapet will be just a box, rather than then angles going up and down. Which you do see on the very first rendering posted, but with a bulkhead pushed back from the glass

Should be seeing some cladding soon:

Avenue North IG page update, wonder if the main tower will have similar lighting scheme to match:

The recent renderings on the page show the prominent triangle angled into the structure will be framed by lighting, so it's possible

Drone footage from NBC10 and Avenue North IG page:

We'll see how much of Avenue North gets built, but it is an ambitious plan for a suburban area (current building under construction in red):

Delle Donne - developers of the Avenue North complex announced earlier this week that big Delaware corporate law firm Morris James will be moving their headquarters from the WSFS Building downtown to The Tower at Avenue North in 2025.

Between Morris James and housing Delle Donne's corporate offices, I have to imagine The Tower is essentially already fully leased.

Bummer for downtown Wilmington though, which is already seeing around 30% office vacancy (and now another major player leaving Downtown).
