Someone literally just said they saw concrete barriers and heavy equipment being delivered to the site.

It's official. They're digging right now. Perhaps Dranoff just wants a bigger hole.

Does digging count as U/C or do caissons have to be being drilled?

1919 Market doesn't actually exist. It's just an urban legend.

It looks like they are digging deeper. The foundation hole that was there was built for that small 2 or 3 story building of Philly International Records. I assume they need to dig deeper for the much taller building. So they should be going deeper first, then I assume caissons etc..

Such a change for this stretch with this and the Altantic, which is almost finished. Now if they could just do something about the enormous parking garage and single story CVS...

I just walked past this site while out on lunch. The workers were erecting the temporary pedestrian walkway, which means that the sidewalk will be closed soon. Construction on this jawn is definitely getting close!

The original was supposed to be 607' with 125 condos and 151 hotel rooms. The new height is 542', they reduced the condos to 107 and axed the hotel....what is the rest of the building going to be filled with? The numbers don't add up unless he is drastically changing the floorplan and making some big ass condos.
