London actually has a neat looking skyline but lacks quantity and height on the world stage.

^ Not sure I'd say Istanbul or Moscow are really Europe but I guess we shouldn't go there

Where is Philadelphia? Toronto?

As a North American who's traveled around Asia, Moscow is the only "European" skyline that impresses me. Maybe Istanbul but it's less tall at the high end.

Paris is neat looking but lacks scale and height. I never really got the appeal of Frankfurt's tbh. The Messeturm is cool though I guess.

OK, thanks for your honest opinion.

I really like the skyline of Frankfurt and its skyscrapers.
The city has a good mix of architecture and different facades.
And of course it's in my home country.

My favourites are: Commerzbank, Messeturm, Westend Tower, Main Tower, ECB, Grand Tower and Omniturm.

I got the list from Wikipedia: List of tallest buildings in the United States

Philadelphia ranks 12th on US list and 17th on my list.
Toronto is of course not included.

moscow's is very tall and clustered but otherwise very small. (nicely representative of the distribution of wealth in that city)

london's is much bigger in area and number of buildings, not to mention la defense. both much more aesthetically pleasing. i even personally prefer rotterdam's more than moscow.

London's may cover more area but number of buildings? Every source says the exact opposite. Which are you using?

tall buildings. moscow probably has a hell of a lot more 15-25 story tower blocks.

lol, Miami has a bright future, so does Austin. Moscow's buildings are taller though and they have more supertalls.

Luckily we (North America) already have New York City which compares to pretty much any city on the planet in some regard. Not to mention Chicago and Toronto which are beasts of the West in their own right.

i've just never seen a skyline photo of moscow that actually shows what this looks like - the above pic is the closest i could find, most only show that central cluster. i assume it has towers spread all over, perhaps like houston?
