Lol at happy people.

That crowd isn't known to be friendly or happy.

True, and was he responding to me with all that? I ask because I don't hate those things... I find the natural environment of Florida quite nice, I only detest hateful old bigots (liberal old people, like those who largely make up the congregation of the church I attend, are wonderful), I certainly don't hate happy people (unless their joy depends on the misery of others, which is typical of happy conservatives), I don't mind master-planned neighborhoods and in fact really enjoy well-executed neo-traditional architecture, and as for life...?

I don't hate life. I've despair at conservatives' constant attacks on the American way of life, and their constant efforts to rescind civil rights and attack civic institutions like public education, and I think they are ruining American quality of life, but my life personally is swell, if for no other reason that the fact I've gotten really good at baking and can crank out chocolate ginger cheesecake whenever I want.

Says who? Angry fearful people? Ask someone else…lol
Really yeah I’d suggest not being fearful or loathsome of huge swaths of people. I’m sure some of the people in there have people who love them, children, grandchildren and there are some who probably love baking too!

I’m sure!
But really South Carolina to Central Florida, not a huge cultural shift!

Tell this message to people who constantly hate, SF, Portland because they're liberals. The hate is insane from places like Florida.

Or does that get some weird pass from you?

Most people don’t care. You guys are afraid of a very tiny fringe of society. Get over yourselves!

Then why do you care if two people here say the same thing those people do? You're trying to calling something out that people from Florida are also guilty of.

Most people in liberal states don't care either. What's your point?

The point is you have no point. People are people, no need to be afraid.

Again, tell to the people who are afraid of cities and liberals. I can assure you many in the villages are. Why do you think they moved to a master planned community, away from everyone?
Its not some small number either. Suburbia was built from alot of fear.

It's just hypocritical, but what else is new.

They also don't like Filipinos in The Villages. So the welcome mat wouldn't come out for everyone in this forum.

Do you have a source for that? Is it in their by laws? Sounds definitive!?
Do we have Filipinos on the forum? I’m totally fine with anyone but just curious…or do you have a problem?

It's not really fear, but he probably feels uncomfortable.

Both sides can be uncomfortable around the other, and your side isn't innocent.
So stop pretending.

I’m totally innocent and have zero fear. I can blend in with anyone. The trick is that you have to see where they’re coming from. It’s not that hard.
