You can actually go into the tower, theres an obsevation deck below the "sky window".

The building was destroyed after being struck by a metiorite, causing to split in two and land on a fleeing crowd. ...

^I can see that the crown contains actual floors and is not purely ornamental. It's much better that way.

I wouldn't mind an office inside the hole!

don't like it too much but it would be really cool to have an office in that nook up there.

I've actually been up there. Very very nice offices and a very nice fountain. They let anyone go up, which I thought was weird.

This isn't the best picture, but you can make out the shape of the neighboring JP Morgan / Chase building at the top of the Trammell Crow building. They're designed to be fraternal twin towers. This one being the male and the JP Morgan being the female.

I completly agree with you, except I feel JP Morgan is the Male and Teammell Crow is the Female, hahah. Those two are atop my list of favorite buildings of all time

This is an awesome building. It's so sunbelt-ish.

Nothing really appealing about this one for me. That clunky top is sort of interesting I guess. I really am not a fan of much of anything big that came out of the 80s/90s though.

Yea that was a great idea to make actual floors as part of the crown. Also very decorative too.

Ah, the good ole "Keyhole Building." I love the design of this 55-story jewel of the Dallas skyline.

From what I heard the 40th floor Sky Lobby Observation Deck is no longer open to the public. When I went in 2014, it provided spectatar views of Downtown Dallas and I think it may have closed in 2018. The gardens at the Sky Lobby have also been removed. The Field Street Tower that will be built in a few years will have a public skylobby on the 16th floor, which is not high for the standards of Downtown Dallas. Therefore, while I understand Chase Tower is a private business, the owners should reopen the skylobby to the public with the gardens brought back so that it can compete with the new Field Street Tower.
