Looks like the steel frame of the 5M is now visible from my apartment in the Fox Plaza

Breaking the Skyline (almost)

Sure is! Is that kind of two buildings in one? Hard to tell from renderings.

The office portion is sort of two buildings stuck together with interlocking bases forming one joined podium.

I walked by today and boy are they working hard on this. It sounds incredibly active in a way I haven't heard since Salesforce Tower went up.

You inadvertantly captured a relatively nice line of early century warehouses there in the foreground. It even looks a little charming from this angle.

Excited to see how the new towers shift the context of the area and maybe even highlight some of the older structures surrounding.

funny you mention that - I noticed the same thing, and had a very similar reaction, only after I posted the shot!

My prediction is that this row will ultimately have a similar fate to 1629-1637 Market:

Looking for some sign of the "10th floor terrace" and I think I can see it now.

9/14/2020 - Today was the first day in awhile that I could see the construction well enough through the smoke to take a photo. I used a photo editor to filter the blue smoke in the foreground to get a reasonable photograph. It appears that the terrace is now evident. I like One Rincon very much & hate to see it blocked by 5M. The red construction crane has gained some dramatic height!
