I love the setbacks. Hopefully they use that dark glass color.

I like it too!! It looks like a nice sizable tower with great height for LIC and I dig the little setbacks it has. A tower most cities would enjoy.

Queens Plaza Park, the 914-foot-tall residential building Property Markets Group and the Hakim Organization are developing in Long Island City, will set aside the bulk of its 800 apartments as rental units.

I never thought I'd say this, but that's a beautiful tower set to rise in LIC. If only they could use high quality glass, I'd be in complete awe.

I do wish they upped the ante on the design of some of these LIC towers. We need some really bold Scandinavian styles mixed in with all the value glass slabs.

^^
Are all these buildings definitely going to get built, or are a lot of them just proposals at this point?

Most of them are under construction already, with more to come.

Manhattan is going to have all kinds of tall satellite skyscraper clusters all around it in nearly every direction. Damn.

Love NYC but can't help but be jealous as we can't get a single new building over 12 floors.
