I love it! Less is always more in my books. I hope this progresses quickly from proposed to built!

On a side note... It's astonishing there is a city as dynamic, populous and economically important as Monterey so close to the southern border and yet maybe 1% of Americans have ever been there. I suppose that's true of most of Mexico.

I’ve been to Monterrey a few times and keep track of the buildings there. . . my first visit was back in 1996 and there were no tall buildings of note and now there are many. . .

Interesting. I thought this one was 1,490 ft so it could claim third tallest in NA though. (It wouldn't hold that title though, due to various proposals in NYC) Well that's fine, especially for Mexico this one is massive.

Construction has started, with the height increased to 1,559 ft. It's currently the tallest building under construction in North America!

Indeed! Although it's pretty much tied by roof height with 270 Park.

It may not be for long though if 175 Park ever gets built.

Interessante... looks like a skinny residential tower that would be built on billionaire's row in Manhattan.

Interesting comment, I was thinking this tower gives certain nods to Manhattan Greats from the 1930's; The Chrysler and The Empire State Buildings. It is a nice looking, very tall tower.

Kudos to Monterey!
