Summer scenes from the Northeast US

With summer around the corner in about a month, I decided a nice collection of random pictures from the Northeast United States would get everyone in the mood. Each of the 11 Northeast states is represented at least once, based on my travels, but I stuck with states for this thread. Pictures are in no particular order and are a mix of historic and modern architecture, coastal and inland towns, and interesting and mundane buildings.

It is fun to cherry pick representatives of each area and compile them. What is the Hartford monument pictured?

Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Arch. It's located in a nice park, Bushnell:
