333 N Green is moving first since it's half leased already.

They aren't "just tearing up the parking lot", that's a passion rig they are setting up. Looks like construction is imminent.

Im confused on the area and addresses here. So are they tearing down Coyne and building on that lot? I thought the three sites were the one shown above, the site immediately north of that one and the lot on the east side of halsted. But I was reading that they were converting the college into a library or somthing like that? Then where would the theater and parking garage be going? Sorry for all the questions. If someone can post a quick overhead map of this it would be appreciated.

They're tearing down Coyne to build 330 N. Green. 333 is on lot east of Coyne, 360 is the lot north of Coyne. The movie theater is 345 N. Sangamon.

This is merely a brokerage trying to sell the parcel.....no real proposal yet....if a developer bites, let’s see what they come up with....

The Sterling Bay website has some nice images of 333 and 330 Green. Still not excited by all of the parking in these developments.

Another building that confuses me with the address. 2100 S Ind. Ave. is definitely already taken. Are they purchasing the address from the building on the corner?

There are so many lots there and easily replaced buildings. I wouldn't fret over that for now. We got several cycles to go through before the Near South Side and South Loop are maxed out

Nice find spyguy^. If they get another lot north of 333 and across halsted filled it will start to turn into a very cool little district. Hopefully alot of night life comes with it. So many open lots in that area ripe for development. Is K2 still planning on another apartment building in that area?

I thought that too but after reading through the PDF, it looks like they're selling the land with the option of using the building they already planned out/rendered but also at the same time it looks as if they're giving the rights away to scrap it so a company can come up with their own.

As far as I can tell, it's part of the same parcel or plan. This is only for the parking lot I believe. The building already there is Vesta Lofts.

^ It’s just some brokerage’s marketing schtick.....that potential project represented by that rendering/no. of units etc would need to be approved as a planned development, as one covering it does not exist and that’s too large/dense to be as-of-right.....

What is that black beauty, in the background, between the two new proposals?
