Truth in advertising is paramount: While it would appear the sea is indeed deep and blue, I have my doubts about that being a newly found land. Most of those houses appear to actually be quite old!

Nice shots, by the way. Looks atmospheric.

Thanks for the memories Architype. It's such a fabulous place to take photos.

Looking forward to the next installment.

Looks quite windswept and chilly, even in the sunshine. Amazingly tranquil though.

^ Thanks everyone, yes it is windswept, prone to high winds especially in the outer headland areas, the more sheltered parts are a bit better. Here's one which I didn't include of Kings Cove. Kings Cove once had a population of around 350, now it is reduced to under 100 as the province's rural areas continue to be depopulated, but is still a better environment than where millions or billions of the world's population live.

^ Thanks, this was the result of a quick visit, where I didn't have much extra time to do a more comprehensive set. Here are a few more which I did not post.

And here is a complimentary aerial shot of St. John's to make the thread more urban (I've photographed St. John's extensively in the past, but not this time because time and weather did not permit).
