I was in Tempe this weekend and noticed that they are putting fencing up around the Cul-de-sac development with a trendy banner wrap advertising that it will be coming in 2021.

Additionally Novus has a twitter with some fantastic construction updates on how things are going. And seems to be pretty consistent with the last update 2 weeks ago.

Lastly, I was able to get pictures of the athletic fields but I have to wait until I get home to upload them so I will edit this post once I receive those pictures. I was very stunned to see how much they have done in such little time, there's 3 fields and a completed parking lot, plus lights.
Thanks for sharing! Renderings look awesome but looks like they still haven't updated to reflect the new location of the ASU Multi-Purpose Arena (hockey and other sports). It will no longer be located next to The Bank and will be next to old Sun Angel Stadium.

With ASU school year kicking off again I will try to make it down there this weekend to get some pics of the local projects that are now welcoming students for move-ins such as park place, Apollo and oliv. If anyone can beat me to it, that would be great. I am trying to make it before the streets fill with an unbearable amount of traffic due to students.

I'm amazed at how fast 7th and Forest is going up. Should be a good looking project too... has some of those reddish accents oliv has.

As an aside, these newer towers are a much better evolution of value-engineered post-modernism than the last boom. More consistency in the facades than throwing a bunch of random crap up.

It sold to the company that contracted it to be built.

Can't remember if this has been reported before, and if any of this information is new, but news this morning reporting that Amazon is expanding its operations in Tempe, hiring 500 new employees, and has signed a lease at 100 Mill.

Yeah, i think 100 Mill announced that a few months ago, they leased the 10th, 11th, and 12th floors in the building. So 4 of the 9 floors are fully leased.

Interesting though, they posted a new video on their website that shows the full design of the hotel tower next door and not just a silhouette as shown previously.

You guys beat me to it

In the Phoenix area, Amazon plans to expand its tech hub with a 90,000-square-foot expansion at 100 Mill, an office property at 100 S Mill Ave., in Tempe, Arizona, which will bring more than 500 new jobs to the community. Amazon has invested more than $11 billion in Arizona since 2010 and directly employs more than 17,000 people across the state.
