I like it all exvept for the unneccesary setback from the streetwall. There is no reason for it on an avenue and it looks particularly awkward with the older building next door.

^Supercar owners often register them in Montana to avoid taxes and other fees. Just set up an LLC over the phone and voila, you're a cheap bastard who drives a Bugatti! The majority of these cars have never actually been there.

200 Amsterdam’s Building Permits Upheld In Victorious New York Court Of Appeals Ruling

Yesterday 200 Amsterdam Avenue, a 668-foot-tall residential tower on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, conclusively won the long legal battle that allows for new construction without the fear of new retroactively enforced interpretations on those permits. The New York Court of Appeals denied an opposition group’s attempt to appeal a previous court’s ruling upholding the validity of 200 Amsterdam’s building permits. Earlier this year, a previous ruling from the New York State Appellate Division, First Department, ruled in favor of developers SJP Properties and Mitsui Fudosan America by unanimously overturning the lower court’s ruling. The trial court ruling sought to apply a retroactive draft zoning interpretation which would reduce the height of the constructed 52-story building designed by Elkus Manfredi.

“Today’s decision by the New York Court of Appeals, the highest court in New York, to deny leave to appeal definitively ends the unwarranted legal challenges against 200 Amsterdam. This decision confirms the Appellate Division’s recent unanimous ruling that 200 Amsterdam’s building permits are lawful and properly issued,” said Steven J. Pozycki, SJP Properties chairman and CEO. “200 Amsterdam will legally and rightfully stand as meticulously constructed and soon welcome homeowners while generating millions of dollars in annual tax revenue to the benefit of all New York City residents. Don't necessarily want of bevy of behemoths built uptown but good to see some sanity in keeping the building at its intended height. So stupid to have such strict height zoning uptown overall, a few more taller buildings might upset a wealthy NIMBY's precious views some, but be good and sensible additions to the neighborhood.
